Grandpa's Fees

In keeping with the philosophy of this offering, there is no fixed fee for any transportation or child care service. The amount payable, if any, is to be determined solely by the parents and should be calculated based upon a family's financial means rather than the value of the service. I am a church school superintendent for a local church. We are in the process of updating our classrooms, equipment and curriculum to meet the needs of today's child and family. If you have the financial means to make a small donation to this endeavor in lieu of a fee then that would be fine. If your financial situation doesn't allow for a donation at this time then that is fine also. I, personally, do not need to know the amount, if any, donated.

Grandpa's Qualifications

Thirty four years experience working with children in various official and volunteer settings. A parent of three children (now adults) and grandfather of one (soon to be two). Love of children, impeccable references, spotless record, forty plus years of ticket free, safe driving, child and infant CPR certified, emergency basic first aid certified, diaper tolerant, tons of patience, young at heart and several formal awards and honors for my work with children.

Grandpa's Philosophy

My wife and I have been richly blessed by a wonderful family and great friends. As a recent retiree, I now have the time to "pay back" or "pay forward" for the many blessings we have received thoughout our lives. In today's world, it is a difficult challenge for parents to provide a safe environment for their children while trying to accommodate the many demands on their time and financial base. A much needed resource for today's families is a service that can provide safe, reliable and caring help with transportation and/or child care that is designed to augment parental care without draining family finances.
